My Night Notes is designed to be private by default. We do not require accounts, do not track users, and do not collect personal data.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information.

• We do not collect names, email addresses, identifiers, or usage analytics.
• We do not use advertising or tracking technologies.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

Your notes and content

All notes and reflections you write in My Night Notes are stored locally on your device.

• Entries are not uploaded to any server.
• We cannot view, access, or retrieve your notes.
• No cloud sync is performed by the app.

If you transfer to a new iPhone using Apple’s device-to-device transfer or restore from an iCloud backup, your data may be included as part of that system process.

Notifications

If you enable nightly reminders, notifications are delivered locally by iOS.

• Notification permissions are optional.
• No notification data is sent to external servers.
• Reminder usage is not tracked.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade user data with third parties.

Your control

You remain in full control of your data.

• You may delete the app at any time, which removes locally stored data.
• If no device backup exists, deleted data may not be recoverable.

Children’s privacy

My Night Notes does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains no social features or communication between users.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
